This is one of my go to smoothies before a run or a gym session. It fills me up without weighing me down, and it’s full of protein and flavors that I love.
Honestly, it’s like a really yummy treat, it’s smooth and sweet and very much like a milkshake, without all the nasty additives of course.
It takes about two minutes to whip up and you need only three ingredients.
– 2 tablespoons of almond butter
– 1/2 a banana
– 1 cup of almond milk
Simply combine the lot, and blitz it with a blender or hand blender.
You can add some chia or poppy seeds for an extra boost if you like.
