Paleo porridge is such a delightful breakfast treat, and personally speaking, it leaves me feeling fuller for longer in comparison to traditional porridge oats.
The beauty of paleo porridge is that it takes only mere minutes to make, there’s no soaking involved, and it provides Vitamin E (great for your skin) and bone building calcium.
It’s a total winner of a breakfast if you ask me!
½ a cup of almond milk
3-4 heaped tablespoons of almond flour/ground almonds
2 heaped teaspoons of desiccated coconut
Simply heat the milk in a saucepan/microwave and then mix in the almond flour and coconut. Sometimes you may want to add extra flour or coconut depending on the consistency you desire.
Add some sliced banana for a yummy tropical taste, or blueberries for a berry blast of added antioxidants, or try it with a drizzle of honey or my homemade Paleo Raspberry Jam.
